Fourth District PTA sends two resolutions to California State PTA convention

Three resolutions were accepted by the CAPTA resolution committee for consideration at the California State PTA Convention. Of those, two are from Fourth District PTA.

One is a resolution submitted by Orange Community Council, calling for an end to social hosting, the practice of sponsoring in-home drinking parties for under-age teenagers.

The other, presented by Fourth District PTA, calls for an amendment to the California State Constitution lowering the 2/3 vote requirement for passage of the California state budget and revenue measures.
